The Unveiling of Peace Monument in Buluan Maguindanao
BULUAN MAGUINDANAO – May 25, 2015
- The 1st. phase of the 2015 Maguindanao Peace Summit was formally
opened by Invocation read by the three religious leaders: Sheik KhalifaNando,
TimuaySanny Bello and Dr. Mervin Limpot followed by singing of the National,
Regional and Provincial Anthems conducted and sang by DepEd Choir.

There were in one voice
supporting and calling the passage and ratification of the BBL from the two
houses: The House of Representatives and the Senate with-out much derailing and
delaying from the two houses of Congress.Not much focusing on the question of
the CONSTITUTIONAL infirmity from the members of the Senate who participated in
the deliberations of the BBL in the upper house. Why we should reach the SC???
When there are still solution for BBL to become legal documents and accepted by
both parties one participant whispered to me during the coverage of the Peace
Summit. “He even murmured and said, BBL is final solution to end the historic
internal conflicts in Mindanao”.
Throng of people of Local
Government Units Mayors, Vice Mayors, Board Members Sanggunian Bayan Members,
Barangay Officials, public officials and sectoral group attending Maguindanao
Peace Summit 2015 at Buluan, Gymnasium, Maguindanao including AFPs and PNPs officials
together with their men and women in uniform and also from the MILF are also
there to witness the peace summit prepared and sponsors by the HWPL, IWPG, IPYG
and Local Government of Maguindanao Province.
Peace Summit in Bulan led by
known peace maker and peace advocate local leader Governor Esmael “Totoh” G.
Mangudadatu.“The Maguindanao Peace Summit the first ever held in Maguindanao
Governor Mangudadato said”.
And then The Reading of the
Position Paper (MANIFESTO) and the Signing of the MANIFESTO signed by the Local
Officials, Guests and participants during the Maguindanao Peace Summit 2015.
On the Second phase of the Peace
Summit-the Establishment of HWPL Day in the Province of Maguindanao and the
unveiling of Mindanao Peace Monument by the internationally global peace maker NGOs
Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light, IWPG International Woman’s
Peace Group and IPYG International Peace Youth Group and the Local Government
of the Province of Maguindanao.
HWPL Day formally declared by Chairman
Man Hee Lee on the 25th of May, 2015 at Municipal Buluan Gymnasium
Province of Maguindanao.
The beginning of a unity of
faiths, marking the end of 40 years of conflict in Mindanao- for the past 40
years, Mindanao, an island in the Philippines, has experienced the tragedy of
socio-economic conflicts between two faith. Thus far, despite the ardent
efforts of peace workers and government officials, the conflict has raged on,
