SUMISIP BASILAN Leader of the ABU SAYYAF group was arrested by a team of Special Forces of AFP in their operation at Barangay Marang Sumisip Basilan at 5PM Tuesday report reaching us.
The suspect identity name is Imran Mijal a.k.a. Boh involved of many criminal activities according to Col. Eliglen Vilaflor, Commander of the 4th Special Forces Batallion.
Mijal allegedly involved in several terroristic activities such us: Bombing, kidnapping, Extortion and ambuscade to civilian and military. He was arrested carrying M-16 riffle, Grenage and .45 Cal. Pistol and assorted ammunition.
Mijal is now under medical treatment in one of the local hospital in the Province of Basilan Capital. He sustained gunshot wound in his upper shoulder, when he attempt to shoot with the arresting team of the Special Forces base in the area. (By. Dennis Arcon BNFM Cotabato)
