Power Advisory:

Please be informed that the Sarangani Energy Corporation will be conducting the 100% load rejection test on MARCH 29, 2016 (Tuesday) at 10AM to 1PM. Within this period, power interruption will be felt throughout SOCOTECO II franchise area. Supply will be loaded back gradually. Some feeders may be energized within one hour while some may be restored much later, depending on grid condition and supply available.
After 1PM we will maximize our contracted supply from different power suppliers. In the event SEC will not normalize and connect back to the grid, we will experience at least 20MW deficit, which may result to rotational brownout.
Kindly await further notices on this situation. We hope for the successful test of SEC today.
