DON’T PUSH MINDANAO INTO WAR

PUBLIC

Manila politicians particularly the opposition group led by former President and now Manila Mayor Joseph ‘Erap’ Ejercito Estrada pushing for all-out war in Mindanao against the MILF full strong combatants 11-12 thousand members equip with high power armaments and Brigand BIFF renegade group allow back the war strategist when he was then our President in 1988-2001 during his short term President and ousted in a popular revolt second people power of EDSA because, he was charged for malversation of public fund and mismanagement of Malacanang.
All-out war proposal as war strategy is unacceptable solution to resolute resolving the 42 years internal Mindanao conflicts just because of recent Mamapasano misencountered that killed 44 PNP-SAF and wounded others at Sitio Inugug, Barangay Tukanalipao Maguindnao Province. The casualties from MILF –BIAF combatants 18 confirmed dead and wounded others in that pre-dawn encountered. Manila base politicians and some Luzon politicians are so noisy with absurd hated condemnations using invective fluid words in one sided accusation to the enemy of the government. Not minding the implication what they have done for the nation and the regions of Mindanao affected by this conflicts if they push for a total war. They are creating more complicated Mindanao rather than contributing in resolving 4 decades war on the question of Mindanao issue.
Philippine President continue to push Maguindanao incident strengthening and forging enduring peace pack with MILF Says President Aquino in a National Televised address on Wednesday. The President said, both the government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front have invested a lot building trust to eventually achieve lasting peace in Mindanao.
The President further said, there are groups or individuals who try to ruin and disrupted the ongoing deliberations of the BANGSAMORO BASIC LAW – BBL in Congress and the mutual trust between the government and MILF, insisting this should not happen.
The President said, “this should not happen, the content of peace process is in the BBL, If this BBL is failed not pass and ratified in due time the whole peace process will be failed, and remained in the status quo”. Source: PNA
Returning to the status quo, he said, would mean continuing injustice, escalation of violence in the region, and more displaced people will be affected. Not only this scenario prospect of investment to Mindanao will also derail and national growth will also be affected. War is costly Philippine should avoid to entrap and engage too much into full blown conflicts.
Addressing the complex issue of conflicts both parties should have honest commitment and seriousness in their documented signed peace agreement and honored by both sides.

Peace process should sustain and must have final conclusion between the government and Moro Islamic Liberation Front. (By. Abs Damahan Anchor of ADLSNTV adlsntv.blogspot.com -  RPN – DXDX AM Radio 693Khz – Gensan)
