AL - BARKAH, BASILAN ( ADLSNTV –

member of the ASG were killed while six soldiers wounded in a 7 hour firefight
in AlBarkah town, Basilan Province. The Armed Forces of the Philippine said
Sunday afternoon.
In a post on his Twitter account,
AFP public affairs unit head Lt. Col, Harold Cabunoc said the clash occurred in
Al – Barkah town, Basilan.
Six soldiers were wounded in the
seven hour sporadic firefighting that started 5:45 PM.
Cabunoc also said, ASG shot five
civilians as they fled from the firefighting scene.
He said, the soldier is rescued
victims and rushed them to a hospital nearby. (By: Abs Damahan)
